CVE-2026-30635Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Command execution via unquoted Forge commit hash

Published May 11, 2026 · Updated May 11, 2026

OS command injection in automagik-genie MCP Server 2.5.27 allows remote attackers to execute commands via a poisoned Forge response. The readTranscriptFromCommit function interpolates the API-supplied after_head_commit value unquoted into an execSync git command in dist/mcp/server.js. Exploitation requires control, compromise, or interception of the configured Forge backend, and commands run with the MCP server process user's privileges.
