Administrator session compromise via unencoded limit parameter
Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026
Reflected XSS in SourceCodester Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted limit parameter. The view_sales.php page places the GET limit value into its HTML response without output encoding, so a script-bearing value becomes executable markup. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to visit the malicious link; resulting script runs in that administrator's browser session.
