Authenticated SQL injection via unfiltered projectCode
Published Feb 24, 2026 · Updated Feb 24, 2026
SQL injection in Vilson PearProjectApi 2.8.0 through 2.8.10 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data. The dateTotalForProject method in application/common/Model/Task.php concatenates the user-controlled projectCode value directly into an SQL query without filtering or parameterization. A bearer-authenticated POST request to the backend Task endpoint reaches the flaw, and the published proof demonstrates database extraction with sqlmap.
