Browser script execution via unsanitized limit parameter
Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026
Reflected XSS in SourceCodester Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through a crafted limit parameter. The view_purchase.php page reads the GET limit value for pagination and reflects it into the response without sanitization or output encoding. An administrator must be logged in and follow the crafted link; the payload then executes in that administrator's browser context, exposing the session and authorized application actions.
