Script execution via unsanitized msg reflection
Published Mar 30, 2026 · Updated Mar 30, 2026
Reflected XSS in SourceCodester Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script through a crafted msg URL. The add_stock.php page reads the msg GET parameter and reflects it into the response without sanitization, so browser-interpreted HTML event handlers execute. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to visit the malicious link; injected script runs in that administrator's application session.
