Subscriber-level log deletion via unchecked AJAX action
Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026
Missing authorization in Seraphinite Accelerator 2.28.14 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to clear operational logs. The seraph_accel_api AJAX handler dispatches fn=LogClear to OnAdminApi_LogClear(), which calls Gen::LogClear() without checking manage_options. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the action deletes plugin debug and operational history without changing site content or settings.
