Administrator-browser script execution via reflected msg parameter
Published Mar 30, 2026 · Updated Mar 30, 2026
Reflected XSS in SourceCodester Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The add_customer.php page places the GET msg parameter into its rendered response without sanitization or output encoding. A logged-in administrator must open a crafted URL; the script then runs in the application's origin and can expose session data or perform actions as that administrator.
