Browser script execution via unsanitized message reflection
Published Apr 1, 2026 · Updated Apr 1, 2026
Reflected XSS in SourceCodester Zoo Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user’s browser via a crafted URL. The login page inserts the GET msg parameter into its HTML response without encoding or sanitization, causing the browser to render attacker-supplied markup. No account is required, but a user must open the crafted URL; successful exploitation runs script in that user’s browser context.
