Authenticated file write via unvalidated project names
Published Feb 24, 2026 · Updated Feb 24, 2026
Path traversal in DataLinkDC Dinky 1.2.0 through 1.2.5 allows remote authenticated users to write files outside the Git workspace. GitRepository.getProjectDir passes the unvalidated projectName into FileUtil.file under the temporary Git directory, and cloneAndPull then creates and populates the escaped path. Git project creation permission is required; writes run with the Dinky service account's filesystem privileges and can overwrite reachable files.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
