Open redirect via unchecked prev_url destination
Published Feb 24, 2026 · Updated Feb 24, 2026
Open redirect in Horilla CRM 1.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to send users to arbitrary sites through a crafted prev_url value. The get method in horilla_generics/global_search.py twice URL-decodes prev_url and uses it as the redirect destination without validating its host or scheme. No authentication is required, but a user must follow the crafted search link; the resulting redirect can support phishing or other user deception.
