Authenticated PHP file disclosure via unsanitized block name
Published Apr 27, 2026 · Updated Apr 27, 2026
Path traversal in the Blocks module of Daylight Studio FuelCMS 1.5.2 allows remote authenticated users to read PHP files. The upload flow accepts ../ segments in the block name, appends .php, and imports the resolved file without confining it to the block-view directory. A role permitted to POST to /fuel/blocks/edit/ is required; exposed files can include database.php credentials or config.php settings.
