Low-privileged code execution via unrestricted Blocks preview
Published Apr 7, 2026 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
Improper authorization in FuelCMS 1.5.2 allows remote authenticated users of any role to execute arbitrary PHP through Blocks preview. The preview endpoint omits module permission enforcement and sends crafted Dwoo template data to a compiler that writes and includes dynamic PHP. Any valid account and network access to the administrative interface suffice, and the resulting code runs in the server process context.
