Account takeover via password-reset email array
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
Password-reset flaw in Daylight Studio FuelCMS 1.5.2 allows remote attackers to take over accounts via a crafted email array. The password-reset endpoint accepts the email POST field as an array and passes every address to CodeIgniter mail handling, which sends the same reset link to the victim and attacker. Exploitation requires a known or brute-forced registered email plus a session and CSRF token obtainable by a GET request; the exposed token permits a victim password change and account login.
