OS command injection in Roo Code 3.46.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through auto-approved shell input. The command-validation parser uses regular expressions that recognize an allowed command prefix but fail to reject $() and backtick command substitution inside its arguments. Exploitation requires command auto-approval and attacker influence over a generated command; successful execution runs with the extension host's privileges.
