Command execution via prompt-injected safety misclassification
Published Mar 30, 2026 · Updated Mar 30, 2026
Prompt injection in SakaDev 4.0.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary terminal commands without user approval. The Tool Call Parser and Command Validation Logic rely on the model to classify wrapped command text as safe, and the Auto-Execution Module runs commands receiving that label without approval. Exposure requires the Execute safe commands option and attacker-controlled content reaching the model; resulting commands run with the extension user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
