File disclosure via unchecked import paths
Published Apr 1, 2026 · Updated Apr 1, 2026
Path traversal in Docudepot PDF Reader 1.0.34 allows local users to expose private app files through crafted import paths. The com.test.hftq.splash.OpenPdfActivity component accepts paths from another app without confining them to permitted files, then copies selected internal data to shared external storage. Exploitation requires the victim to open a malicious app; the technical report demonstrates disclosure, while the CVE record also attributes file overwrite and code execution to the import process.
