Code execution via imported filename path traversal
Published Mar 31, 2026 · Updated Mar 31, 2026
Arbitrary file overwrite in Zora: Post, Trade, Earn Crypto 2.60.0 allows attackers to execute code via a malicious Android app. MainActivity accepts an attacker-controlled imported filename and content without restricting path traversal, allowing writes outside the intended directory into internal storage. The victim must open the malicious app; exploitation then proceeds automatically and can expose data, corrupt configuration, crash Zora, or run code in its context.
