CVE-2026-30283

Code execution via path-traversing file import

Published Mar 31, 2026 · Updated Mar 31, 2026

Path traversal in PEAKSEL NIS Animal Sounds and Ringtones 1.3.0 allows attackers to overwrite internal files during import. The com.bra.classes.ExternalProcessorActivity component accepts a filename and content controlled by another app without confining the resulting path to internal storage. Opening a malicious app triggers the overwrite automatically, which can expose stored information, stop the target app from launching, or execute code when a critical configuration or executable file is replaced.
