Arbitrary file read via prompt-driven SQL injection
Published Apr 1, 2026 · Updated Apr 1, 2026
SQL injection in PandasAI 3.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files from the database server via a crafted prompt. The pandasai.agent.base._execute_sql_query method sends prompt-derived SQL to the connected database without neutralizing attacker-controlled SQL syntax. Exploitation requires a deployment that exposes prompt submission to remote users, and access is bounded by the database server's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
