Restricted action metadata disclosure via missing view checks
Published Mar 6, 2026 · Updated Mar 6, 2026
Missing authorization in OliveTin before 3000.11.1 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted action metadata through its web API. Dashboard construction and GetActionBinding return titles, IDs, icons, descriptions, and argument metadata without calling IsAllowedView(). Reachability requires an authenticated account denied view permission; action execution remains denied, so the demonstrated consequence is metadata disclosure.
