Unauthenticated file disclosure via unsanitized language path
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Path traversal in Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.6.09 through 1.6.27 allows remote attackers to read any file accessible to the web server. The Lang_Check constructor copies the lang query parameter directly into its language selector instead of reducing it to a base filename. No authentication or user interaction is required, and disclosure is bounded by the web server process's filesystem permissions.
