Authentication bypass in OpenAirInterface CN5G AMF 2.2.0 allows remote attackers to complete registration without integrity protection. The AMF accepts an initial UE registration advertising only IA0, then processes a Security Mode Complete message with a zero MAC despite NIA1 and NIA2 configuration. Remote attackers able to send crafted NGAP and NAS registration traffic can obtain Registration Accept under a downgraded security context and replay messages.
