Service interruption via crafted UE-context PUT request
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Denial of service in free5GC 4.1.0 allows attackers to interrupt service via a crafted PUT request to the UE-context endpoint. The public record identifies CreateUEContextProcedure at /v1/ue-contexts/{supi} but does not disclose the malformed field or erroneous operation. Reachability requires network access to that endpoint; authentication and other preconditions remain undisclosed, and the documented consequence is limited to availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
