Unauthorized task creation via forged administrator request
Published Mar 24, 2026 · Updated Mar 24, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in DedeCMS 5.7.118 allows remote attackers to create scheduled tasks through an administrator session. The save action in dede/sys_task_add.php accepts a forged POST request without sufficiently verifying CSRF protection and creates a task in the victim's authenticated context. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to visit an attacker-controlled page; the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized scheduled-task creation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
