Authenticated service interruption via unchecked txtMin2 copy
Published Feb 23, 2026 · Updated Feb 23, 2026
Buffer overflow in Shanghai Aitai Technology HiPER 810G 1.7.7-1711 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt gateway service. The /goform/formTaskEdit_ap handler copies attacker-controlled txtMin2 data into a destination buffer with strcpy without checking its length. Access to the Digest-authenticated management interface is required; the public PoC demonstrates service interruption, not code execution.
