System information disclosure via detailed health endpoint
Published Mar 7, 2026 · Updated Mar 7, 2026
Information disclosure in mcp-memory-service before 10.21.0 allows remote attackers to read host details via a health API request. The /api/health/detailed handler returns OS and Python versions, resource totals, disk usage, and the database's absolute path without filtering sensitive fields. Anonymous access must be enabled, and the default all-interface binding exposes the response across the network, revealing host fingerprinting and filesystem-layout data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
