Authenticated code execution via spoofed upload type
Published Feb 23, 2026 · Updated Feb 23, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in FastapiAdmin 2.0 through 2.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to write files via the Scheduled Task API. UploadUtil.check_file_extension derives an allowed extension solely from the client-supplied Content-Type header, then upload_file writes the original content without checking its bytes. Access requires the module_system:param:upload permission; a crafted upload can write attacker-controlled content and combine with scheduled tasks to execute code.
