API metadata disclosure via unauthenticated documentation endpoints
Published Feb 23, 2026 · Updated Feb 23, 2026
Information disclosure in FastAPI Admin 2.0 through 2.2.0 allows remote attackers to read API endpoint metadata without authentication. The reset_api_docs function exposes Swagger UI, ReDoc, LangJin UI, and the OpenAPI document without an authentication or authorization dependency. Any network client that can reach the backend can enumerate routes, parameters, and schemas, but the report identifies no data modification or service interruption.
