Stored script execution via unneutralized role data
Published Feb 23, 2026 · Updated Feb 23, 2026
Stored XSS in openjoe Smart-SSO 2.1.0 through 2.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The UserController save method persists role-edit input without neutralization, allowing a stored payload to reach later page rendering. Administrative privileges are required to store the payload, and another user's interaction with the affected page triggers browser-side execution.
