Command execution via poisoned Redis pickle
Published Feb 23, 2026 · Updated Feb 23, 2026
Unsafe deserialization in Datapizza AI 0.0.2 allows remote authenticated users on an adjacent network to execute system commands through Redis. RedisCache.get passes bytes returned by Redis directly to pickle.loads without validating or restricting the serialized object. Exploitation requires the ability to poison a cache entry and trigger its retrieval; commands then run with the application process's privileges.
