Prototype pollution in higuma WebAudioRecorder.js 0.1 and 0.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to alter inherited object properties. The extend function in lib/WebAudioRecorder.js recursively copies enumerable configuration keys without rejecting proto, allowing assignments to traverse the prototype chain. Reachability requires an embedding application to pass attacker-controlled configuration data; resulting confidentiality, integrity, and availability effects depend on available application gadgets.
