Stored cross-site scripting via X-Forwarded-For persistence
Published May 20, 2026 · Updated May 20, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in AIWU AI Chatbot & Workflow Automation 1.4.14 and earlier allows remote attackers to store scripts via X-Forwarded-For. The plugin persists an attacker-controlled header value in a 20-character field and later renders it without adequate sanitization or output escaping. No authentication is required, but a user must open an affected page for the script to run, and the storage limit constrains usable payloads.
