Administrator session compromise via reflected ping input
Published Mar 16, 2026 · Updated Mar 16, 2026
Reflected XSS in Hereta ETH-IMC408M firmware 1.0.15 and earlier allows remote attackers to run JavaScript through a malicious link. The Network Diagnosis ping function returns the ping_ipaddr parameter into a generated page without neutralizing injected script. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to visit the crafted link, exposing that session to script-driven actions in the management interface.
