Unauthenticated file access via unconditional PASS acceptance
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Authentication bypass in MiCode FileExplorer allows remote attackers to access files through the embedded SwiFTP FTP server. Its PASS command handler accepts arbitrary username and password combinations and grants an authenticated session without validating either value. An enabled, network-reachable FTP server is required; successful access permits listing, reading, writing, and deleting exposed files.
