Authenticated browser script execution via sanitizer bypass
Published Feb 22, 2026 · Updated Feb 22, 2026
Cross-site scripting in RYMCU Forest 0.0.1 through 0.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to inject script into rendered content. XssUtils.replaceHtmlCode applies HTML replacement logic that fails to neutralize alternate XSS syntax in article, comment, and portfolio input. Low-privileged content submission and another user's viewing of the affected content are required, enabling attacker-controlled JavaScript to alter browser-rendered content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
