CVE-2026-2931Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Administrator takeover via unauthorized customer password update

Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026

Improper privilege management in Amelia Pro 8.3 through 9.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to change arbitrary WordPress user passwords. The UpdateCustomer controller and command handler pass a user-selected customer object to the password update path without verifying that the target belongs to the caller. Customer-level Amelia access is sufficient, and changing an administrator password enables account takeover with that administrator's privileges.
