Authenticated RCE via stored FreeMarker templates
Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026
Server-side template injection in Apache OFBiz before 24.09.06 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through FTL data resources. The content services let Ecommerce Customer accounts create or update Data Resource records whose FTL text is evaluated by FreeMarker. Customer-level access is sufficient; execution inherits the OFBiz server process privileges and can compromise application data and service integrity.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
