Stored XSS via unauthorized template condition update
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Stored XSS in weDevs Happy Addons for Elementor 3.21.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script via template conditions. The ha_condition_update action accepts template identifiers after validate_reqeust() checks the general edit_posts capability instead of object-level edit_post authorization, while cond_to_html() concatenates condition values into HTML attributes without escaping. Contributor-level access is enough to alter any published ha_library template, and the injected handler executes when an administrator opens the Template Conditions panel.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
