Session hijacking via unescaped inventory location names
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
Stored XSS in Craft Commerce 5.0.0 through 5.5.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via inventory location names. PurchasableStockField::inputHtml concatenates the saved location name directly into a table cell instead of HTML-encoding it. Exploitation requires inventory-location management permission and a product editor or administrator to open a variant form; the script then runs in that viewer's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
