Authenticated SQL injection via unvalidated sort parameters
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
SQL injection in Pixel & Tonic Craft Commerce before 5.5.3 allows remote authenticated users to read, modify, or delete database data. The inventory levels table data endpoint passes attacker-controlled sort[0][direction] and sort[0][sortField] values directly to addOrderBy() without validation or sanitization. Access requires a control-panel account with Commerce inventory stock-level permissions; exploitation supports time-based data extraction and database modification or destruction.
