Authenticated SQL injection via unvalidated sort column
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
SQL injection in Craft Commerce 4.0.0 through 4.10.1 and 5.0.0 through 5.5.2 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data. OrdersController::actionPurchasablesTable splits the sort parameter and passes its unvalidated column token as an orderBy() array key, which Yii2 leaves unescaped in the ORDER BY clause. Control-panel access plus Commerce order-management and order-edit permissions reaches the endpoint; successful injection can exfiltrate, modify, or destroy database data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
