CVE-2026-29119Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated administrative access via hardcoded Telnet credentials

Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026

Use of hardcoded credentials in IDC SuperFlex SFX2100 allows remote attackers to obtain administrative Telnet access to the receiver. The firmware ships an undocumented admin account with a fixed password, and the Telnet service accepts that credential pair without device-specific provisioning. Network reachability to Telnet is sufficient; successful authentication exposes the appliance's administrative shell and permits system compromise.
