CVE-2026-29115Network attack vector

Authenticated remote device reboot

Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026

Reachable assertion in certain Dahua IPC and SD builds before March 26, 2026 allows remote authenticated users to reboot devices. A specially crafted network packet reaches an assertion and triggers an exception, but Dahua has not disclosed the affected service, parser, or assertion condition. Administrative privileges are required, and successful exploitation interrupts availability by forcing an unexpected reboot without reported data disclosure or modification.
