Arbitrary file upload via unchecked PDF fonts
Published Mar 19, 2026 · Updated Mar 19, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in the SuiteCRM Configurator before 7.15.1 and 8.0.0 through 8.9.2 allows remote authenticated users to write files. The addfontresult view accepts PDF-font uploads without enforcing the intended file-type restrictions and preserves attacker-controlled filenames. Administrator privileges are required, and the default upload directory is not web-accessible, limiting direct execution while permitting unauthorized server-side file writes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
