Unauthenticated remote app termination
Published Mar 25, 2026 · Updated Mar 25, 2026
Denial of service in the Baseband component of Apple iOS and iPadOS before 26.4 allows remote attackers to terminate an app. Apple states only that improved checks address the issue and has not disclosed which Baseband operation mishandles remote input. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to unexpected app termination rather than device reboot or data compromise.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
