Protected user data disclosure via Screen Time permissions
Published Mar 25, 2026 · Updated Mar 25, 2026
Permissions bypass in Screen Time in Apple iOS, iPadOS, and macOS before 26.3 allows attackers to use an app to read protected user data. Apple has not published which Screen Time permission check accepts an app request that should be denied or which protected data classes become readable. Exploitation requires a locally installed app to invoke the affected Screen Time path; the published consequence is limited to unauthorized data access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
