Internal service access via unrestricted proxy destinations
Published Apr 3, 2026 · Updated Apr 3, 2026
SSRF in ZimaOS before 1.5.3 allows remote attackers to reach internal services through the web interface's /v1/sys/proxy endpoint. The endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled destination and forwards requests without blocking localhost or internal-only addresses. Exploitation requires Internet exposure through a Cloudflare Tunnel and grants unauthenticated access to sensitive local endpoints, including administrative APIs.
