Path traversal in the @tinacms/cli dev server before 2.1.8 allows remote attackers to read, write, and delete arbitrary local files. Wildcard CORS middleware in server.ts and plugins.ts accepts any web origin, letting browser JavaScript reach traversal-capable media routes beyond the media directory. Exploitation requires the developer to run tinacms dev and visit an attacker-controlled page; the server can remain bound to localhost.
