Script execution via unescaped submitType reflection
Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026
Reflected XSS in the IDC SFX Series SuperFlex web interface 101 allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted submitType value. The /IDC_Logging/index.cgi handler inserts the untrusted parameter unchanged into its HTML output without contextual escaping. Exploitation requires an operator to follow the crafted URL; the script then runs in that operator's browser under the management interface's origin.
