Arbitrary code execution via uncontrolled DLL search path

DLL search-path hijacking in JPCERT/CC EmoCheck all versions allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted DLL. The executable searches its own directory for a required DLL without constraining the path and loads an attacker-supplied file from that location. Exploitation requires a user to place the crafted DLL beside EmoCheck and run the utility, after which the DLL executes with that user's privileges.
